WE ARE BACK IN THE SADDLE!!!!!

IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!!

At last we are hooked up to the Internet here at our home in Guayabo, Costa Rica.
We have high speed Internet and are now able to post on our blog and update through this page.

As most of you know we had to go into town to the local Internet cafe, when it was open, if the Internet was available, it would at times take four and a half minutes plus to just get the Internet page to pop up!! Uploading and downloading were an impossibility!

We were in Canada for the month of February and had a chance to visit many of our friends and family! We thank each and everyone of you for opening your homes to us or taking the time to meet us for coffee. We apologize to those of you whom we did not get a chance to sit down and spend time with. We expect to return to Canada at the end of September for about a week, so lets plan to get together then!

We were also present for the birth of our first grandchild Zachary Josias, born to Kristi and Rob!

An absolute darling, and very cute if we may say so!!

Gayla and I are here on the Ranch working together with Banyan Resources Ministries. We accepted a position as the Administrators of the Ranch and oversee the daily operations as well as work together with the local and international ministries that use the facility as a base for mission trips, retreats, get aways, work projects, and much more!!

We are in the middle of the dry season right now so it is very warm and dry! In fact I can not remember when it rained last, but it has been a while!

Our recent return trip to Costa Rica from Canada went very well until the last leg of the journey when we had one of our bags stolen off of the bus we were on! It unfortunately was the one with our lap top, camera, watches, wallet, I.D., and much more valuable stuff in it! The greatest loss was our pictures from the past years and recent trips to Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica and Canada. Some pictures we have on disc but many of them we do not. If any of you have pictures of events or times we spent together and have an occasion to put a few together it would be greatly appreciated if you could send them our way. Thanks

Thanks very much to all of you who on very short notice helped us to get all of our I.D. , bank stuff, computer, camera, books, and much more together and get that ordeal all sorted out. We don't take it for granted and were very thankful for your help and all your time!!

We will sign off for now, but stay tune as we will be updating the Blog and the pictures on a regular basis now that we are 'BACK IN THE SADDLE' .
